DRP Council honors Maumoon

Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party’s Council has valued the services rendered by its founding member and former president Gayoom in a special meeting held today. Earlier the meeting received a letter from Gayoom, informing his unavailability to serve as the leader of the party for another term.

Council also expressed its hope that party would be able to benefit from his knowledge and rich experience even if he would be an ordinary member of the party.

Members of the Council also expressed the importance of moving forward from the foundation laid by its founding member.
